By submitting your information to Parity Projects by email, use of the Parity Projects website or otherwise, you consent to the use of that information as set out in this policy. Parity Projects may from time to time modify the terms of this policy and any changes will be posted on this page.
Information Collection and Use
Parity Projects has four main sources of data:
- Property data collected from and/or entered by customers
- Data sourced from the Government’s Energy Performance Certificate open data service. Personal information is covered by the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation, as well as data under a restrictive licence. We handle the data in line with this regulation and licence.
- Public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
- Data sourced from the Ordnance Survey under licence.
If under any circumstances you provide Parity Projects with your contact information (such as name, company, address, and email address) this information will only be used to contact you for the purpose for which you have expressed an interest. If you do not opt in to joining our mailing list, it will not be retained once an enquiry is complete, or beyond the duration of a contract and fulfilment of Parity Projects’s legal and financial obligations to its insurers and others (whichever is longer). Parity Projects does not share this data with third parties for marketing or other purposes without your consent.
Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from service providers which allow us to verify, enhance or supplement your information, and from business partners to whom we are offering a service. We are not responsible for third-party use of information, and will only use it for the purposes agreed.
Third party data controllers
Parity Projects uses Eventbrite as a ticketing service for some events. Eventbrite, Inc is Privacy Shield certified which means that it self-certifies to protect Personal Data from the EEA, Switzerland and the UK in accordance with established data privacy principles.
Where your contact information has been provided by Eventbrite Inc or another third party to Parity Projects for the purposes of a seminar, event or similar activity to be held by Parity Projects, your contact information may be passed to a third party event management company to enable Parity Projects to facilitate the seminar, event or similar activity. The information will not be used for another purpose.
A cookie is a piece of data sent to a website user’s browser and stored on a user’s hard drive tied to session information about the user.
We make use of Google Analytics, to help measure the usage of our site. Google analytic cookies are used to collect information about how visitors, like yourself, use our website. This information is collected in an anonymous form and is only used to inform us how the site can be improved.

As a result, Parity Projects cannot ensure the secure receipt of any information that is sent to Parity Projects by this medium and any such information is sent at your own risk.
Updating and Deleting
If the contact information held by Parity Projects changes, or if you wish Parity Projects to delete, update or correct certain contact information from Parity Projects records, please notify us via www.parityprojects.com/contact
